You already know exactly what you need to stop happening.
Second time round you are not shopping for features. You have a specific list of things that went wrong and you want to know whether they will go wrong again. That is a much better conversation, and a much faster one.
Or call 01934 912001.
Where you are
It is rarely one big failure
Brands almost never move because of a disaster. They move because of an accumulation: the stock figure that is never quite right, the cut-off that is a target rather than a promise, the query that takes four days and three people to answer, the peak that was handled but only just, and the growing sense that nobody there could tell you what happened to a specific parcel without a week”s notice.
By the time you are looking, you can usually name all of it in about ninety seconds. That list is the most useful thing you own, and no comparison site will ever ask for it.
What moving actually involves
A switch, not a rebuild
- Your stock moves once, is counted in on arrival, and you get told what arrived rather than what was supposed to.
- Your channels reconnect to the new operation. Your storefronts stay as they are; what changes is where the orders are picked.
- Timing is chosen around your trade, not ours. Moving six weeks before your peak is a different job from moving in February, and we will tell you which side of that line you are on.
- You keep your carriers and your customer-facing promises, unless you want to revisit them.
It is a real piece of work and it takes planning. It is not the reinvention people fear, and the fear of it keeps a lot of brands somewhere they have already decided to leave.
Why a conversation beats a comparison
“Make this stop” is not an option on anybody”s list
Describe your situation in categories and you will be matched against categories. But your actual requirement is not a category. It is “I need to stop apologising to customers for a stock figure I cannot trust”, or “I need one person who knows my account and answers the same day”, or “I need to know a container has landed without chasing it”.
Put those in front of someone who runs the warehouse and you get a direct answer: yes, here is how that works here; or no, that would be a problem for us too. Both are worth thirty minutes. Neither comes out of a preselected list of services, because the thing you want is not a service. It is an outcome.
We would rather lose the call than lose you in month four. If your list includes something we would handle the same way your current provider does, you will hear it from us on the call.
The difference
Staying where you are, or moving once
What made you look
- A stock figure you cannot quite trust, so you check before you promise.
- Queries that take four days and three people to answer.
- A cut-off that is treated as a target rather than a promise.
- A peak that was handled, but only just.
What you are moving to
- One stock record, updated as goods move, feeding every channel you sell on.
- A named contact who knows your account and answers the same day.
- A cut-off agreed at the start and worked backwards from.
- An operation that plans your peak with you, before it arrives.
How a move works
A switch, not a rebuild
Go through the list. What has been happening, what you have already asked for and not got, and which of it would be handled differently here.
Pick the timing. Moving six weeks before your peak is a different job from moving in February, and we will tell you which side of that line you are on.
Stock moves once. It is counted in on arrival and you are told what actually arrived. Your channels reconnect; your storefronts stay exactly as they are.
Questions about moving
The ones we get asked most
How long does a move take?
It depends on how much stock there is, where it is, and what your trading calendar looks like. That is worked out on the call rather than guessed at here.
Will my storefronts need rebuilding?
No. What changes is where orders are picked. Your shop, your listings and your customer-facing promises stay as they are.
Do I have to change carriers?
No. You choose the carrier. Carriers collect daily and EZ3PL books the shipment.
What if you are not the right fit?
You will hear that on the call. If your list includes something that would be handled the same way it is now, saying so is cheaper for both of us than finding out in month four.
Bring the list of what went wrong
Thirty minutes, and you can be blunt. Tell us what has been happening, what you have already asked for and not got, and when you would want to move. We will go through it point by point and tell you how each one would work here.
